QUALITY ASSURANCE AND CONTROL POLICY

Purpose: The purpose the policy is to establish a quality control program to provide the necessary supervision, inspection, and test of all items of work, including that of suppliers and subcontractors, to assure the compliance of all work with applicable specifications and drawings, and contract documents in respect to Contractor furnished equipment, material, workmanship, construction, functional performance, and identification.

Scope: Our quality control program encompasses all management and supervisory actions taken by W. W. Gay which affect the quality of the finished product, including all inspection controls and test required for compliance with specifications.

Special Requirements: Our quality assurance program establishes the basic quality program plan for work performed by W. W. Gay Mechanical Contractor, Inc., and subcontractors. Where W. W. Gay engages in the work of contracts which exceed the requirements outlined in our Quality Control Manual, those additional requirements become a part of the requirements of this Quality Program Plan.

ASME Code Fabrication: When such certification is required, the provisions for quality assurance are in accordance with W. W. Gay Mechanical Contractor, Incorporated, "Quality Control Manual for the Shop and Field Fabrication and Field Assembly of Pressure Vessels to Section VIII, Div. 1, and Boilers and Boiler External Piping to Section I and ASME B31.1 and Repairs and Alterations to Pressure Retaining Items in Accordance with the National Board Inspection Code (NBIC) and Jurisdictional Authority."
