The Ironworkers local have approximately 500 members.
W.W. Gay currently has over 900 employees. This large permanent employee base gives W.W. Gay an incredible amount of flexibility in manning large projects. We draw from current employees to man specific tasks. As the need arises for more manpower, we have the ability to draw additional local manpower from the local unions. Additionally, each local union can recruit from their national and international membership of over 3 million members, when local manpower needs exceed local resources.

LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental design and is a nationally accepted benchmark for high-performance green buildings. Not only do we endorse this method and help advocate it, but there are dozens of projects that we have executed that receive LEED ratings.
